Americas Best Value Inn Columbus, TX

The room was beautiful and very clean. The price is okay but needs to be a little cheaper if it's only for an overnight stay... They need to make sure the AC units work on cool for when it's hot outside or you just like the cool air. Needs more thicker blankets too.

The staff was very friendly, the room was nice and clean and had been recently updated except for the tub. Yes, the tub is stained, and the refinish has worn off, but who cares! It was spotless clean. The couch did have a stain on the seat, which was a little yucky. Bed was comfortable & linens were clean. Very basic breakfast. Nice old hotel. I would stay here again, and I loved the Christmas Tree in the lobby in front of the fireplace.

The rooms were recently remodeled minus the bathroom. I paid $96.05 for a room for one night which I feel is overpriced for this type of hotel. However, the room was clean and looked nice. The bathroom definitely need a good cleaning. The shower, perhaps might just be stained but the toilet seat was flaking and not comfortable for use. The water pressure was great. Hot water. Pool was nice!!! Breakfast was included, but McDonald’s was right across the street so I didn’t check it out. I would give a better rating if they hadn’t put a dog in the room right next to me. Between the dog barking and the person pacing the room above me I didn’t get any rest. The bed was old, but sheets were clean and was comfy enough. The refrigerator and microwave was super nice to have as well as the tiny hair dryer. Towels were clean. They provide pool towels upon request. The family that runs the place was super nice too! Small safe parking area. Overall, it felt safe and I would stay there again if they could provide a quiet room. It’s conveniently located right off I-10.

The person at the front desk was very accommodating when I explained been trapped in the detour on I10 for 2 solid hours at night in the rain and agreed to match the Expedia price without making me go through the app. The rooms were clean and more than decent - highly recommend

Clean hotel. The rooms and cleanliness are like the “3-star hotels” across the street (whereas this is a “2-star hotel”) except the hallways are outside, which I didn’t mind. Friendly and helpful young man working the front desk.

Great place. Clean, and cozy. Affordable for sure but no corners cut for hospitality. Will be staying here again next time I come see family.

Its overall a good hotel they only have a cold continental breakfast which isn't a big deal and they clean every other day when paying the weekly rate which is more than most other hotels clean. I did have a problem with someone walking into my room because they accidently assigned them to the same room but the problem was fixed

We recently stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn in Columbus, Texas. Despite its small size, the hotel was clean inside. We booked two rooms with two beds each in advance through Priceline and found the price to be quite reasonable. One highlight was that my kids loved having an extra room to themselves. However, breakfast was a letdown. There was no coffee, bananas or bagels ready, so we had to head over to the McDonald's across the street. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re passing through, but don’t count on breakfast being ready.
